NORCE is one of Norway's largest independent research institutes with more than 2000 projects and 750 employees. NORCE conducts research for both public and private sectors to facilitate informed and sustainable choices for the future. We have extensive research activity within energy, health, climate, environment, society and technology. Our solutions address key societal challenges and contribute to value creation locally, nationally and globally.

NORCE is represented throughout Norway from Alta and Tromsø in the north, Bergen, Haugesund and Stavanger in the west, Kristiansand and Grimstad in the south and Oslo in the east. Our large local presence enables close collaboration with unique centres of excellence, as well as the business community and public authorities. This is all beneficial to research.
